Comedienne, an Ode

Inspired by Maurizio Cattelan's "Comedian" art installation.  "Comedian" was displayed as a fresh banana duct taped to a wall.  This piece has been sold multiple times, and was auctioned off at Sotheby's in 2024 for 6.2 million dollars to Justin Sun, founder of Tron.  I thought I'd make a longer lasting version.

14k yellow gold plated hand carved banana secured onto a sterling silver backplate by a fine silver strip.  Hanging from a 14k yellow solid gold 20" chain.
